Online Casinos
July 16th, 2006In the past few months you have probably been hearing how online casinos are illegal. Well if they are already illegal then why has the goverment for the past 8 years or longer been trying to pass a bill to make them illegal? Doesn’t make sense does it. Did you know the world courts had filed actions against the US for restricting US players from gambling online and won against the US.. Which the US has not complied with the World Courts order. Sure our media fills us with half truths and those who have been over sea’s at all know what I am talking about. Most Americans never leave the country and rely on media to inform them of what other places are like. Well we are all being fooled. So for online gambling it is just another example of how our goverment is trying to fool us. Now they have legit excuses why gambling is bad and I have to agree with them.
1. Can break up families - sure I have seen this. ( however it was gamblers playing at Indian casinos )
2. Under age gamblers - Seen this too ( in an Indian casino )
3. Odds might not be fair - ( If you have ever played in a Indian casinos do you think those odds are fair? )
4. Gambling is addictive- It sure is.. So why not shut down all forms including state lotteries, Indian casinos, land based casinos. It is not just online gambling that is addictive.
We are all adults and no one should tell us how to spend our own money. We work for it and should have a right to spend as we please. Saying they are protecting us is a lie.. They just don’t like the fact the money is going to other countries. However if it is there idea to give to other countries ( of course they are making a profit as well ) they are all for it.. You have seen those ad’s to sponsor a starving child in Africa.. Many people don’t even know that South Africa has very rich people, more BMW in one place than you will ever see. Again there is our media only showing us certain things.
